Using Examples of Your Experience

Interview question - February 16, 2008

I am struggling to think of a good example when I am asked about a situation where I have learnt from experience, managed relationships or adapted to change.

Is it OK to use the same example for all the questions? Is an example from sports always a good one, or will it make them think I am a sports fanatic?

Can you guys suggest some example that you could use for the following:...?

    1)Managing relationships?
    2)Adapting to change?
    3)Learning from experience?

A tip I learned from my interview experience is that when explaining about your personality, it is important to also point out that you acknowledge that not everyone is the same as you and that you appreciate peoples' differences and respect that.
