Second Interviews
Interview question - February 25, 2008
Hi, I've got through to the second stage of an interview and they've told me that it will require two tests to examine my written and communication skills.
Do you know of anywhere I can find an example of the test to help myself prepare. Alternatively if you have any tips you believe would benefit me then please let me know. Thanks, Eli

Before calling any employer if you think you have any questions, make sure that you know why you are asking the question, as some employers may ask you why do you want to know.

After working as a retail manager for 12 years, I am finding it hard to find another position I seem to get through the interviews but get a disapointing result even though I feel the interview went well

Hi Angela - I completely understand
My boyfriend was in a similar situation, he'd worked in retail management for a big supermarket chain for 10 years and was finding it a real challenge to get another job. He found that he'd become quite institutionalised by the large chain he worked for and the prospect of external work was quite daunting.
He also really needed to brush up on his IT skills, as being in a retail environment meant he didnt use them very much in his work.
He took a course on IT and business and found his confidence improved and he could offer alot more scope in interviews.

Please can you help me.
I went for interview and I was told there will be a second interview if I was successful and also if I have any questions, I should call them.
Please can you advise me what questions to ask or what can say to convenience them I'm the right candidate for the job.
