I am to have a telephone interview for a customer assistant with TFL (underground station).
What specific questions should I prepare for?
Do you have any advice about any tricky questions that might be asked? Many thanks.

I have been out of work for over a year and I am having problems with interviews. I not able to express myself fully, including when it come to selling myself I undermine my skills and experience.

Before calling any employer if you think you have any questions, make sure that you know why you are asking the question, as some employers may ask you why do you want to know.

I have made my first Powerpoint presentation and am so worried that I wont remember what to say during each point in a ten min presentaion. Do you have any tips?

Please offer some advice, having worked at a blue chip retail company and progressed to management level I was made redundent after 11 years.
Having no great interview skills but was very good at what I did, how do I transfer this into other jobs? I'm struggling out here!!!

Elaine- This is a hard one, sometimes poeple leave out jobs they think will get misunderstood. But I guess you need to just keep plugging away at it and someone will give you a break eventually. It can be a slog but at least your getting the feedback you need to work on moving forward.

Susan- Once you've done your powerpoint presentation, type out what you want to say and practice speaking it outloud (then you can edit it so that it flows) making sure you turn you head so that it looks as though your talking to everyone in the room. There is no Law saying you have to have memorised what you want to say...

Hope this is of some use Furzana

What would I answer to "What is your biggest weakness?" eg- Chocalate?

Describe a time when you have delayed making a decision? How? and Why?

Please give me an example of a poor decision you have made and explain why it was bad?

I find it difficult answering
"What kind of initiative do you take at work?" and "How do use contribute to the team?"
