Claiming Back Relocation Costs

I took up a position with work in December 2006 which meant relocating my family 250 miles south. We moved in Apr 07 and although work paid for stamp duty, conveyancing and removal costs they put me on notice of redundancy in Oct 07. I was put into a position back up North so put my property on the market. The house is still unsold and guess what? They have put me on consultation again. My house is now for sale at the same price I bought it. We have spent over £10,000 on Kitchen and improvements. Is there any way of claiming it back?
