Rich, Single and Working together - advice from Karren Brady

I fancy my boss something rotten. We're both single, in our late thirties and work at a well-known financial institution in the City. I don't mind being rejected if I decide to ask him out but I really don't want it to affect my career. Please help

It would be so much easier if you could keep your personal life and your career separate - but then again almost everyone meets their partner at work.
Why would you worry that it would affect your career - see if your company has a policy that forbids relationships in the office.
If not, there is no harm in suggesting going out for a drink - in a light-hearted way - and then he can say no. Remember nobody likes a stalker!
