The mechanics of adult learning - advice from Karren Brady

At school I was never sure what I wanted to do. Now I know that I want to be a mechanic but the colleges say I have to be in the trade. I can't give up my current job as I have financial commitments and I'm too old for an apprenticeship. Do you know of any night courses available in Essex?

Lots of people don't know what they want to do when they're at school.
This organisation in Essex is part of the government training scheme www.inourhands.lsc.gov.uk and will be able to point you in the right direction.
