On Probation (again) - advice from Karren Brady

I moved here from Zimbabwe at the end of February. At the end of March I was employed by another ex Zimbabwean who runs a small Company. I was hired as a Contracts Manager. In June, I was reassigned a role as Administration Manager as my Employer thought it a better role. However having now completed my 3 months probation he wants me to do another 2 months. I'm concerned that if I don't "fit in with his plans" in 2 months after trying me in another role he may terminate my employment. What should I do & can he make me rework more probation?

An employer can extend probation periods but it would be considered good management to explain to the individual concerned the reasons why. Arrange a meeting to discuss this.
Ideally they would highlight the areas of specific concern the employer has which has led to them considering extending the probation period.
